Every year Maryland Yacht Club hosts its annual MYC Challenge Regatta in partnership with the Rock Creek Racing Association. The regatta is a pursuit style race and is open to all participants. The regatta is free to join and is a non-CBYRA sanctioned event. The race begins by the White Rocks, and with the pursuit start, the theory is that all boats will finish at the same time. The finish is at R “4” just off of MYC’s beach and Pavilion which is a great place to watch the race and close finish. Awards ceremony and social held immediately after the event in MYC’s dinning room.
